Peninsula Park
There is nothing modern about Peninsula Park's playground, but that's why I immediately fell in love with it. This website calls it "Portland's second oldest playground." I'm hoping that means they won't change anything, since it's a historical landmark and all. Some of my favorite things include a metal merry-go-round, a tube to crawl through (and not just any tube -- it's about 20 feet long and is situated at least 10 feet off the ground!), and metal trapeze bars and rings. I never played here as a child, but I wish I had.
